betreffende de sluiting van de Overeenkomst tussen de Europese Economische Gemeenschap en Finland ingevolge artikel XXVIII van het GATT met betrekking tot de geconsolideerde produkten van de Hoofdstukken 1 tot en met 22 van het Finse douanetarief

DE RAAD VAN DE EUROPESE GEMEENSCHAPPEN ,

Gelet op het Verdrag tot oprichting van de Europese Economische Gemeenschap , inzonderheid op artikel 113 ,

Gezien de aanbeveling van de Commissie ,

Overwegende dat Finland op grond van artikel XXVIII van de Algemene Overeenkomst betreffende tarieven en handel ( GATT ) , zijn voornemen te kennen heeft gegeven om de tariefconcessies voor produkten waarvan de Europese Economische Gemeenschap de voornaamste leverancier is , te wijzigen ;

Overwegende dat de Commissie met Finland onderhandelingen heeft gevoerd ingevolge artikel XXVIII van het GATT ; dat zij met dit land tot een overeenkomst is gekomen die bevredigend wordt geacht ,

BESLUIT :

Artikel 1

De Overeenkomst tussen de Europese Economische Gemeenschap en Finland ingevolge artikel XXVIII van het GATT met betrekking tot de geconsolideerde produkten van de Hoofdstukken 1 tot en met 22 van het Finse douanetarief wordt namens de Gemeenschap goedgekeurd .

De tekst van de Overeenkomst is aan dit besluit gehecht .

Artikel 2

De Voorzitter van de Raad is gemachtigd de persoon aan te wijzen die bevoegd is de Overeenkomst te ondertekenen ten einde daardoor de Gemeenschap te binden .

Artikel 3

Het resultaat van de onderhandelingen wordt ter kennis gebracht van de Overeenkomstsluitende Partijen bij de Algemene Overeenkomst betreffende tarieven en handel .
