Jean Rey international Prize rewards a politic, a scientific, an academic or an economist international personality for her/his humanism and her/his universalism.
This prize is a tribute to Jean Rey who illustrated liberal thinking, who was President of the Commission of the European Communities, and who was elected to the European parliament on the first elections of its members by popular vote in 1979
