On 13-14 June in Dublin, the Minister of the Interior D. A.Barakauskas will participate in the European Union and the United States Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial meeting.

During the EU-US Ministerial meeting, the human mobility, migration, border security, counter-terrorism and cyber security issues will be discussed. EU-US Justice and Home Affairs Ministers regular meetings are held twice a year, alternatively arranged in the US or in the EU Council Presidency territory. "The EU-US ministerial meetings are especially important for strengthening the European Union's cooperation with the strategic partner - the United States," - Minister Barakauskas emphasized.

At the meeting, D. A. Barakauskas will present the EU home affairs area priorities of Lithuania which will take over the Presidency of the EU Council soon.
