International position of The Netherlands central during Night of the Constitution.

On the 29th of March we celebrate the 200th anniversary of signing of the Dutch Constitution of 1814. During the night before the day of the constitution, special attention will be paid to an article of the current version of the Dutch constitution: article 90. Article 90 emphasizes the international role of the Netherlands. The article states: “The Government shall promote the development of the international legal order”. What does this constitutional order mean for the Dutch government? How does the Netherlands comply?
