International conference at the Reggia di Venaria on 23 and 24 September

The international conference on Cultural heritage as a common resource: towards a shared governance in the third millennium is held on 23 and 24 September at Sant’Uberto church at the Reggia di Venaria Reale, near Turin. It is one of the events of the six-month Italian presidency of the EU Council and it is attended by representatives of the European institutions, the Italian Minister of Cultural Heritage Dario Franceschini, professors and international experts from the sector.

The event aims at promoting the cultural heritage as a collective resource and at shedding light on the need for cross-cutting policies which can contribute to reaching targets in different fields through the cultural context.

The two-days conference is divided into five different sessions: the cultural heritage as a common resource; the Community identity as the driving force for wellbeing and prosperity; advanced models of cultural heritage governance; management of cities cultural heritage; digital technologies as support to the new ways of the cultural heritage.
