Commissioner Bieńkowska took part in the “Friends of Industry” meeting in Alcala (Madrid), where she discussed the future of the European industry, with particular emphasis on competitiveness and the new challenges for the Competitiveness Council.
Her fellow panellists included Spanish Industry Minister José Manuel Soria, Deputy Chancellor of Germany Siegmar Gabriel, Italian Economic Development Minister Federica Guidi and other ministers from the EU.
