On 01.10.15, the Committee on Budgetary Control will hold a workshop on the current state of play of EPSAS (European Public Sector Accounting Standards) implementation across the EU Member States. The workshop will gather the leading EU experts in the field from the European Commission, PricewaterhouseCoopers, European Central Bank, Federation of European Accountants, national accounting offices, national courts of auditors, Ministry of Finance etc. Rapporteur: Ingeborg Graessle

Deze parlementaire commissie i controleert de begroting van de Europese Unie en de financiële verantwoording van de Europese Unie en haar instellingen.
De commissie telt 30 leden. De belangrijkste taak van deze commissieleden is het controleren of de begrotingsmiddelen correct en voor de beoogde doelen worden gebruikt. De commissie begrotingscontrole wordt bij haar werkzaamheden ondersteund door de Europese Rekenkamer.
