Schulz on the signing of Better Law Making Agreement

Met dank overgenomen van Voorzitter Europees Parlement (EP-voorzitter) i, gepubliceerd op woensdag 13 april 2016.

The representatives of the European Parliament, Council and Commission signed today in the Strasbourg plenary the Better Law Making agreement. It replaces the last agreement between the three institutions of 2003 and will enter into force as of today.

"This agreement is a milestone in the way the EU i institutions programme, cooperate, prepare and agree legislation. The law-making processes will be improved, which will allow for simpler rules, avoiding overregulation and reducing administrative burdens while ensuring high environmental, economic and social standards."
