International Women's Day - Empowering Women in Politics, Brussel - Hoofdinhoud

As part of the European Parliament’s activities to mark International Women’s Day, DG EPRS and DG Communication are organising a joint roundtable event which will focus on empowering women in politics, with contributions on the current gender balance in the European Parliament, how media coverage impacted on women candidates standing in the last European elections and concrete steps to improve electoral success for women and reach out to new generations of women hoping to stand for office.
