Following the seminars held in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, the EIB is pleased to continue the dialogue with interested key stakeholders on its approach to and revision of its NCJ Policy. The EIB places great emphasis on integrity and good governance of its operations in order to ensure avoidance of misuse of EIB funds for purposes of money laundering, financing of terrorism, tax fraud and tax evasion or activities failing to provide satisfactory evidence that EIB projects are used for sound economic purposes, such as wholly artificial arrangements aimed at tax avoidance. The EIB highly appreciates dialogue with civil society organisations and other stakeholders on compliance related subjects. This workshop will provide an update to the participants on: recent regulatory developments in the area of taxation and the designation of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes, Interim approach to the EIB NCJ Policy, and the revision of the EIB Group NCJ Policy. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session. The provisional programme can be found here. The Seminar will start at 9h30 and a light sandwich lunch will be provided around midday. Registration Please complete the registration form before Friday 28 September. The workshop is open to all interested stakeholders. Places are, however, limited and registration will be on a first come first served basis. Participation is free of charge but please note that the EIB cannot reimburse travel or accommodation expenses for participants. Contact Email: civilsociety@eib.org
