Consideration of CONT MFF Opinions - Hoofdinhoud

On 18.10.2018 the Committee on Budgetary Control will consider four CONT opinion on the MFF to:

  IMCO: Establishing, as part of the Integrated Border Management Fund, the instrument for financial support for customs control equipment, Rapp: Nedzhmi Ali

• - 

  IMCO - Establishing the 'Customs' programme for cooperation in the field of customs, Rapp: Wolf Klinz

On these opinions, the Rapporteurs believe that the new Customs Programme and Control Equipment instrument must be consistent with and exploit any synergies with other EU action programmes and funds with similar objectives in related fields.

  ITRE- Establishing the specific programme implementing Horizon Europe, Rapp: Martina Dlabajová

The amendments proposed by the Rapporteur aim to highlight the importance of a transparent recruitment process in all EU Institutions and advisory bodies.

The Rapporteur proposes amendments to underline the on-going importance of an in-depth analysis of the approaches, procedures and tools available in the fight against fraud.
