Directors General of Civil Aviation Programme on Aviation Safety, Montréal - Hoofdinhoud

​The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in cooperation with the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), will hold the Directors General of Civil Aviation (DGCAs) Programme on Aviation Security in Montréal, Canada, immediately before the ICAO Assembly 40th Session (24 September to 4 October 2019). The two-day DGCAs Programme will take place on 21 and 22 September 2019 at ICAO Headquarters.

This executive-level programme will provide Civil Aviation Authority Directors General and Senior Government Officials with specific knowledge regarding the international civil aviation security framework and its compliance. While the area of security may not fall directly under the purview of a State’s civil aviation administration, the underlying principles covered in this Programme will enable DGCAs to carry out their responsibilities to ensure the effective management of aviation security in their States.
