The European Chemicals Agency’s (ECHA) Biocides Day 2019 will provide an insight into the current priorities for biocides in the EU.

The event will cover the following topics:

Europees Agentschap voor chemische stoffen (ECHA)

Het Europees agentschap i voor chemische stoffen is verantwoordelijk voor het regelgevend kader voor chemische stoffen: REACH. De afkorting 'REACH' staat voor 'Registratie, Evaluatie en Autorisatie van Chemicaliën.' REACH is een verordening over de productie, handel en gebruik van chemische stoffen.

Het ECHA is op 1 juni 2007 operationeel geworden en op 3 juni 2008 officieel geopend.
