The 6th EU-Colombia/Ecuador/Peru Dialogue with Civil Society under the Trade Agreement between the EU and Colombia, Ecuador and Peru
Representatives from, among other, employers, trade unions, labour and business organisations, environmental groups, and other relevant civil society organisations are invited to participate in the Dialogue with Civil Society, established under the Trade Agreement between the EU and Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. This meeting will take place on October 23rd 2019 in Bogota, Colombia.
Participants will have the chance to exchange views with one another, and with officials from the European Commission and from the Governments of Colombia, Ecuador and Peru on matters related to the implementation of the Trade and Sustainable Development Chapter (Chapter IX) of the Trade Agreement between the EU and Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

Dit directoraat-generaal i heeft de taak om bij te dragen aan de harmonieuze ontwikkeling van de wereldhandel, het afschaffen van de beperkingen op internationale handel en het verlagen van de douanebarrières. De EU heeft een gezamenlijk handelsbeleid naar niet-lidstaten en het DG moet dit beleid implementeren.
