Programme, European Policy CentreThe world of work is in transition, overturning old conventions and disrupting how, where and when people work and interact with one another. Attempting to stop such transformations would be counterproductive, but the process needs to be managed. Together with its project partners, the EPC will share its vision for how to take advantage of the fourth industrial revolution to build a more progressive society and a more inclusive labour market in Europe.

The conference will open with a first panel discussion on the main findings of the EPC research project The future of work - Towards a progressive agenda for all presented by EPC Senior Policy Analyst Claire Dhéret. Parallel workshops will then explore the future of work in three areas:

• 1. 

  Labour law reforms in the age of new forms of work
• 2. 

  Access to training in the 21st century
• 3. 

  Social protection in the age of labour market transformations
