As Europe marks the 30th anniversary of the democratic revolution in Central and Eastern Europe, EPRS is organising a discussion on the events of 1989 and their meaning today. Discussants will trace the origins and dynamics of the fight for freedom in several countries, with the opportunity to share insights with several actors from those remarkable times.
