The Joint Conference is of particular interest to professionals directly involved in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) and Disaster Risk Resilience (DRR) incidents. It would also be of interest to people involved in European and national security research - policy makers, innovators, research /development experts, as well as standardization, ethical and data protection professionals.

Welcome persons involved in CBRNE and DRR to our Joint conference!

NO-FEAR (http://no-fearproject.eu/) brings together a pan-European network of emergency medical care practitioners, suppliers, first responders, decision and policy makers to collaborate and exchange knowledge, good practices and lessons learnt and also includes practitioners directly involved in CBRNE and DRR.

STAIR4SECURITY (http://cen-stair4security.eu/) creates a collaborative platform as a single entry point of information on the CBRNE and DRR sectors primarily coming from research activities allowing a better governance of standardization needs to be realised.

De Gemeenschappelijke Informatiedienst Onderzoek en Ontwikkelingen (CORDIS) houdt zich bezig informatieverstrekking over Europese onderzoeksactiviteiten in het kader van onderzoek en ontwikkeling en het verspreiden van technische kennis en toepassingen binnen de EU.

CORDIS heeft als doel:

  • deelname aan Europees onderzoek faciliteren en stimuleren
  • het verbeteren van de exploitatie van onderzoeksresultaten in het kader van een competitief Europa (zie ook Zevende Kaderprogramma) i
  • de praktische toepassing van technologisch onderzoek door bedrijven stimuleren door de verspreiding van kennis
  • het bevorderen van de verspreiding van technologische kennis om de sociale acceptatie van nieuwe technologie te stimuleren
