Agenda highlights
Ministers will assess the EU policies and approach towards the Eastern Neighbourhood in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ministers will focus particularly on Ukraine and the Eastern Partnership region.
Under current affairs, ministers will focus on recent international developments, particularly related to the follow-up to the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and will also touch upon the situation in Libya.

De raadsformatie i Buitenlandse Zaken (RBZ) bestaat uit de ministers van buitenlandse zaken, defensie en/of ontwikkelingssamenwerking. Deze Raad is verantwoordelijk voor het externe optreden van de Europese Unie en vergadert minstens elke maand, ook informele bijeenkomsten zijn mogelijk. Namens Nederland sluit doorgaans minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Hanke Bruins Slot i (CDA) aan.
De bijeenkomsten van de Raad Buitenlandse Zaken worden voorgezeten door de Hoge vertegenwoordiger voor het buitenlands en veiligheidsbeleid i. Deze functie wordt momenteel bekleed door de Spaanse Josep Borrell Fontelles i.
