MEPs to debate how to finance the Green Deal and make it socially balanced - Hoofdinhoud

Parliament will debate the sustainable investment plan, just transition fund and the roadmap on Social Europe Tuesday at 15.00.
Commission Executive Vice-Presidents Frans Timmermans i and Valdis Dombrovskis i will present the much-awaited legislative proposals on the sustainable investment plan and the just transition fund on Tuesday at 15.00, followed by a debate. They will also present a “Roadmap to a social Europe”.
MEPs are expected to underline that the necessary financial resources must be allocated to an ambitious European Green Deal i and it must be socially balanced.
On Wednesday, MEPs will vote on a resolution outlining Parliament’s views on the European Green Deal, winding up the debate held in December.
