Please note that the event venue has changed to:

The European Committee of the Regions is drafting an opinion on "Regional Innovation Scoreboard and its impact in regional place-based policies". The opinion is meant to assess the effect of RIS on the design, implementation and monitoring of regional, place-based policies and strategies related to research and innovation.
The rapporteur of the opinion, Mr Mikel IRUJO AMEZAGA (ES/EA), Representative of the Parliament of Navarre, together with his expert, Ms María Dolores UGARTE MARTÍNEZ, would be happy to meet representatives of your organisation in order to gather the different points of views and discuss the main issues relating to the subject of the opinion.
The consultation will take place on:
Wednesday, 4 March 2020, from 14.30 to 16.30
at ERRIN Network
(Rue de Luxembourg 3, 1000 Brussels, 2nd floor).
Following an introduction, stakeholders will be invited to exchange views with the rapporteur on the subject (please find the working document here).
In addition, if you have any position paper relevant to the subject, you are most welcome to send it to our functional e-mail address: sedec@cor.europa.eu.
The meeting will be held in English. Please note that in order to reduce paper waste, the CoR will not provide paper copies of documents for the meeting.
For practical reasons, you are kindly required to register by filling in the online registration form before Monday 2 March 2020.
