Digital Day 2021 - Hoofdinhoud

Digital Day 2021 will be on 19 March next, beginning at 09h00 (Lisbon time), and is co-organised by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Commission.

The event will include the discussion of draft declarations in key areas where digital technology could have a significant positive impact for the Member States:

  Startup Nation Standards: A declaration to coalesce policies with the aim of harmonising the European ecosystem of startups and reinforcing them through supports
• - 

  European Data-Gateway Platform Strategy: A declaration that will contribute to preparing Europe for the exponential increase in data and assure connections between Europe and the rest of the world
• - 

  A Green and Digital Transformation of the EU: A declaration aimed at increasing Europe's role in the global leadership of the green and digital transition
• - 

  European Green Digital Coalition: An initiative that involves industry and will contribute to speeding up the transition of the ICT sector to a sustainable, climate-neutral, circular economy with zero pollution and to the creation of a society and economy that are innovative, sustainable, inclusive and resilient
