Launch of the Creative Europe Programme

Met dank overgenomen van Portugees voorzitterschap Europese Unie 1e helft 2021 i, gepubliceerd op donderdag 17 juni 2021.

A conference will be held on 17 and 18 June next to launch the Creative Europe 2021-2027 Programme, promoted by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Taking part in the conference will be the Portuguese Minister of Culture, Graça Fonseca, the Vice-President of the European Commission, Margaritis Schinas i, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabriel i, the European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton i, the Portuguese Secretary of State for European Affairs, Ana Paula Zacarias, and the Chair of the European Parliament Committee on Culture and Education, Sabine Verheyen i.

The aim of the conference is to present the latest news on the new Creative Europe Programme, with a budget of EUR 2.5 billion, as well as exploring its synergies with other European funding instruments.
