MEPs in budget threat over EU commission expert groups - Hoofdinhoud

MEPs in the budget committee earlier this week backed an amendment to withhold millions of euros from the EU commission until it implements greater transparency measures on expert groups. Expert groups offer advice and opinions to commission officials drafting new policies. It is set for plenary vote on 22 October.
