This policy hub will focus on the long-term growth impact of EIB-supported investments and the Investment Plan for Europe. Debora Revoltella, chief economist of the European Investment Bank, will present research pointing to an additional 2.25 million new jobs and a 2.3% increase of Europe’s GDP expected by 2020 thanks to the supported investments based on EIB Group operations approved in 2015 and 2016. The impact simulations were supported by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre.
