Mission: The group’s tasks shall be: a) to provide feedback on the Commission's initiatives and actions for a smart, innovative and sustainable industry; b) to assist the Commission in making conclusions from the EU Industry Day operational; c) to advise the Commission in defining priorities for future actions in the area of the industrial policy and for the subsequent Industry Day; d) to advise the Commission on the implementation of the renewed EU Industrial Policy Strategy and monitor its progress at different levels (international, Union, national, regional, local); e) to build on existing groups that cover specific technology areas and are linked to Union initiatives in the area of industrial policy, including the reports and analyses they produce; f) to reflect on future targets to measure the performance of Union industry and propose medium- and long-term objectives.

Task: Assist the Commission in relation to the implementation of existing Union legislation, programmes and policies

Assist the Commission in the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives
