The aim of this workshop was to discuss national strategies for renewable energy in relation to energy efficiency policies including building renovation and self-generation of electricity. The current situation and its likely evolution were presented and evaluated. The workshop consisted of five presentations by high level speakers, followed by a question and answer session. The presentations offered a comprehensive picture of relevant views and opinions on this subject across the EU.

The workshop was organised by the ITRE committee and the Policy Department for Economic, Scientific and Quality of Life Policies in connection to the ongoing work on the legislative proposals of the Clean Energy for All Europeans package.

The workshop was held on 22 February 2018 from 09.00 to 10.30.

EP-Commissie Industrie, onderzoek en energie (ITRE)

Deze parlementaire commissie i houdt zich onder meer bezig met het beleid betreffende industrie, onderzoek, energie en informatietechnologie.

De commissie telt 78 leden. De belangrijkste taak van de commissie bestaat uit het voeren van het industrie-, onderzoeks- en ruimtebeleid. De commissie buigt zich in het kader hiervan over de de toepassing van nieuwe technologieën en de verspreiding en benutting van onderzoeksresultaten.
