the second part of the hearing focussed on the specific consequences of the Facebook/Cambridge Analytica case. Special attention was put on privacy and data protection implications (including applicable jurisdiction), the alleged impact on electoral processes and consumerís trust in digital platforms and cybersecurity. During the third part, taking place on 2 July 2018, Members will discuss possible solutions and EU policies that could remedy the negative consequences and prevent these from happening again.
