The 17th ReferNet annual Plenary meeting, planned in November 2019, will be postponed to February 2020 to include the 30 new partners under the 2020-23 Framework Partnership Agreement as well as the national representatives for ReferNet.
The meeting will aim at informing on the latest EU VET policy developments and preparing the network’s 2020 Work plan. There will be also a strong focus on integrating the newcomers, making all tools available to them and assisting them through mentoring by Cedefop experts and older ReferNet partners. Sessions on topics linked to the ReferNet 2020 work plan such as VET policy reporting, VET in Europe country reports, the European Skills index and ‘Future of VET in Europe; challenges and opportunities’ will feature on the agenda.
Various partnership forms among ReferNet partners and between Cedefop and ReferNet will be used such as knowledge-sharing on EU VET policies, peer review, hands-on workshops, joint reflection sessions, face-to-face talks, mentoring, etc.
The annual meeting also offers a space for partners to open new issues for cooperation and communication.

Het Europees Centrum voor de Ontwikkeling van de Beroepsopleiding is een agentschap i dat sociale partners, beleidsmakers in lidstaten en de Europese instellingen informeert over het beleid van de lidstaten inzake beroepsonderwijs en beroepsopleidingen door het publiceren van bijvoorbeeld studies en statistieken. Ook geeft het Cedefop rapporten uit over te verwachten trends. Cedefop wil 'een leven lang leren' (permanente educatie) bevorderen.
