🙋‍♀️ A more sustainable clothing industry? Excellent idea. 👀 But EU plans seem to have forgotten about the millions of animals abused in the sector! 😳

🤜 That's why Anja Hazekamp of the Party for the Animals has submitted proposals to ban widespread animal suffering from the clothing and textile industry.

The production of fur 🐺🦝, leather 🐊 🐂, wool 🐑 🐰 and down 🐥 causes immense animal suffering, environmental pollution and an increased risk of zoonotic diseases and pandemics. ⛔️ Banning the production -and- import of these products is the way to go.
