119th CoR Plenary Session, Brussel - Hoofdinhoud

​The members of the European Committee of the Regions will meet in the 119th plenary session.

Fourteen opinions and two resolutions are on the agenda of this plenary session.

On the first day, at the European Parliament, Ms Corina Creţu, Commissioner for Regional Policy, Mr Ramón Luis Valcárcel Siso, Vice-President of the European Parliament, Anton Marcinčin, Plenipotentiary of the Slovak government for support of least developed regions, and Mr Markku Markkula, CoR President, will open the 14th European Week of Regions and Cities (Open Days).

On Tuesday 11 October, the plenary assembly will debate on the topic Reflections on the EU - Present and future with Danuta Maria Hübner, Chair of the European Parliament Committee on Constitutional Affairs, and will welcome Vice-President Andrus Ansip, EU Commissioner for a Connected Digital Single Market.
