The European Commission is organising a meeting to gather former winning cities of the Access City Award (ACA) on the 28th of September.

The meeting will take place in Lyon, the winning city of the Award in 2018, and will be an opportunity to discuss:

-urban accessibility
-
-the impact of the European Pillar of Social Rights on disability issues
-
-the future of the Award.
Several former winning cities of the Award will be represented at the meeting, the first of its kind to bring together and develop the Access City Award network. Various city delegates and civil society representatives will end the day by visiting key accessible sites in the city of Lyon. This meeting will also lead participants to think about the next edition of the Award, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2019.
