Please note that the list of participants for 17 December is full. We created a waiting list.As an alternative we decided to organise a webinar event on Thursday 18 December from 10.00 to 12.00. During this webinar the Commission presentations will be repeated and you get the opportunity to ask questions through a chat facility.

Please register for the Webinar. In order to connect to the Webinar, please click here. The Info Day will cover the information about new calls within Horizon 2020. Participants will get the occasion to present their proposal ideas and to network with other participants. The objective of the day will be to inform the participants about the H2020 calls on Low Power Computing (ICT 4- with a special focus on Innovation Actions) , Internet of Things and Platforms for Connected Smart Objects (ICT 30), ICT-enabled modelling, simulation, analytics and forecasting technologies in Factories of the Future (FoF 8) and ICT Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs (FoF 9). Additionally to the networking possibilities and space to present the ideas, participants will have the possibility to ask questions to Commission staff about their proposal ideas. Low power computing The move towards low-power consumption for embedded systems, mobile devices, desktops or even data centres is a key and structural evolution of computing. The demand for low-power multi/many-core computing systems is intensifying across all computing market segments and it will underpin progress across the whole computing spectrum. This session will discuss the open call in this area. Please read the background information and previous projects in this area. Innovation Actions in Low power computing The new financial instrument of “innovation action” is designed to stimulate broad adoption of new technologies. The session will discuss and explain this opportunity to aggregate clusters of innovative companies around European centres of excellence and across the value chain. The double aim is to build reference architectures / platforms and to exploit low power computing technologies in real-life application experiments. Internet of Things and Platforms for Smart Connected Objects ICT30 on Internet of Things and Platforms for Connected Smart Objects cuts across several LEIT-ICT technological areas (smart systems integration, cyber-physical systems, smart networks, big data) and brings together different generic ICT technologies and their stakeholder constituencies to develop technological platforms which will have a strong influence on the way in which we live and work. This is a new topic. ICT in Factories of the Future ICT-based solutions applied across the manufacturing process chain help to make manufacturing efficient. Both elements in combination allow for a more personalized, diversified and mass-produced product portfolio and flexible reaction to market changes. Please read background information and previous projects . ICT Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs (I4MS) I4MS (ICT Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs) is the initiative promoted by the EC to support the European leadership in manufacturing through the adoption of ICT technologies. In fact, Europe's competiveness in that sector depends on its capacity to deliver highly innovative products, where the innovation often originates from advances in ICT. The current projects funded in the context of I4MS may be found on the website.
