The Single Resolution Board (SRB) is the European resolution authority for the Banking Union. This year the conference is titled ‘Building resolvability together’.
The full-day conference will combine keynote speeches, delivered by high-level profile speakers from relevant European and international institutions, and 3 high-level panels.
We expect a large audience of around 400 relevant stakeholders from the European Union and international institutions, resolution authorities, the banking industry, academia, press and professional services firms.
Dit agentschap i (in het Engels de Single Resolution Board, SRB) is belast met de uitvoering van het gemeenschappelijk afwikkelingsmechanisme binnen de Europese bankenunie i. Het gemeenschappelijk afwikkelingsmechanisme moet ervoor zorgen dat een bank efficiënt kan worden gesteund en geherstructureerd en/of ontmanteld wanneer zij in ernstige moeilijkheden komt te verkeren, waarbij de kosten voor de belastingbetaler en de reële economie tot een minimum beperkt blijven.
De Gemeenschappelijke afwikkelingsraad neemt besluiten over de afwikkeling en ziet toe op de uitvoering daarvan door de nationale afwikkelingsautoriteiten.
