FRA will form part of a panel discussion on international treaties and definitions related to rights and AI challenges during a workshop in Barcelona from 2 to 3 March. The workshop will look at artificial intelligence and human rights in the context of the work of ombuds organisations. The discussions will focus on challenges, the role of ombuds organisations and tools to protect and guarantee rights.
Dit agentschap i verleent de instellingen van de Europese Unie i en de lidstaten i bijstand en expertise op het gebied van de grondrechten. Dit moet hen helpen om bij hun activiteiten de grondrechten volledig te eerbiedigen.
Het agentschap is een voortzetting van het Europees Waarnemingscentrum voor Racisme en Vreemdelingenhaat en is sinds 1 maart 2007 in de huidige vorm operationeel.
