    Adoption of the provisional agenda

    The summary conclusions of the 44th meeting of ERAC, held in Brussels on 17 December 2019, were approved by written procedure on 5 March
  • 3. 
    Information from the co-Chairs and Presidency
  • - 
    The co-Chairs will report back on the latest ERAC Steering Board meeting and on the progress of the Action Plan to implement the Council conclusions of 30 November 2018 on the ERA.
  • - 
    The Croatian Presidency will give a presentation on Research and Innovation policy in Croatia, including the relevant Presidency priorities.
  • - 
    The incoming Trio Presidencies will give short presentations on their respective Presidency priorities.
  • 4. 
    ERA and Innovation Policy

4.1 Synergies between the ERA and the EHEA

Based on a note with lead questions from the Steering Board, Delegates will be invited to share their views about possible scopes of collaboration in the framework of synergies between ERA and EHEA.

4.2 Future of Skills

Based on a note with lead questions from the Steering Board, Delegates will be invited to share their views about possible scopes of collaboration in the framework of synergies between ERA and EHEA. To give the possibility to all the stakeholders to express themselves, Delegations will be kindly invited to limit their interventions to 3 minutes.

4.3 Monitoring ERA National Action Plans

The Rapporteur will inform Delegations on the final round of monitoring Priority 1 of the National Action Plans.

4.4 Transitional Forum for R&I Partnerships

The Commission will give a presentation on the first draft deliverables of the Transitional Forum: 'Recommendation for the scope and structure of the biennial monitoring and the necessary processes and data request' and 'Recommendations for the scope, approach and necessary resources of foresight activities'. Delegates will be invited to discuss the national preparedness (governance structures, monitoring), based on the results of the survey on the status of preparations and guidance needed.

4.5 Towards a European R&I Data Hub: data for strengthening the ERA

The Commission will give a presentation on the potential benefits, challenges and solutions for a European R&I Data Hub. Delegates will be invited to provide comments on this initiative and express their interest and willingness to participate in it.

    ERA Governance

5.1 Highlights from the ERA-related Groups

Updates by the ERA-related Groups, together with key points for discussion, will be provided in writing to Delegations prior to the meeting. Delegations will have the opportunity to ask questions in relation to the notes and key points provided. Highlights:

    'White Paper on the future of Research Infrastructure in the ERA ' (ESFRI);
  • - 
    Report on Inclusiveness: Openness and transparency of networks '(GPC).
  • 6. 
    Standing Information Point

Information will be provided in writing to Delegations prior to the meeting. Delegations will have the opportunity to ask questions in relation to the information provided.

  • - 
    Update on the H2020 Policy Support Facility and new call for Expression of Interest;
  • - 
    Launch of the 2020 European Semester;
  • - 
    Tour des Capitales.

7.1 46th ERAC meeting (4 June 2020, Brussels)

The Steering Board will draw up the provisional annotated agenda of the next meeting on the basis of the Work Programme 2019-2020.

Comité Europese Onderzoeksruimte en innovatie (CEOR)

Dit is een comité van de Raad i, een speciaal soort raadswerkgroep i op hoog ambtelijk niveau.

CEOR bestaat uit ambtenaren van de EU-lidstaten en adviseert zowel de Raad i als de Europese Commissie i. Het comité wordt voorgezeten door de Commissie. ERAC concentreert zich enerzijds op de technische inhoud van de communautaire onderzoeksprogramma's en anderzijds op uitwisseling van ervaringen, gegevens en toekomstplannen inzake nationale en communautaire R&D programma's. In CEOR zitten de ambtenaren die hun ministers adviseren bij Onderzoekraden.
